PM Modi said the decisions taken by his government on Saturday, including the reduction in the Central excise duty on petrol by Rs 8 per litre and on diesel by Rs 6 per litre, will positively impact various sectors and provide relief to the citizens. Taking to Twitter, PM Modi wrote, "It is always people first for us! Today’s decisions will positively impact various sectors, provide relief to our citizens and further ‘Ease of Living.’"
