In 2 years 181 pilots tested positive for alcohol

Between the time period of 2015 and 2018, a total of 181 pilots of scheduled and non-scheduled operators tested positive for alcohol. On being asked in the Lok Sabha, the Civil Aviation Ministry informed this on Thursday. In the year 2015, nearly 43 pilots were found with positive alcohol test, which increased to 44 in 2016 and 45 in 2017. In 2018 till November, 49 such cases were registered.
