Haryana govt. gives ₹50 incentive to students for tree plantation

Assessing the progress of environment conservation in Haryana, the government has introduced a scheme under which students of Class 6 to 12 will get ₹50 for planting a tree. The students will be provided saplings and books on environment conservation in a drive to be launched on July 10. The 22 lakh students, who will be asked to name the trees after famous personality, will be motivated by the money incentive.
