Gross GST collection for January over Rs 1,40,000 crore, No changes in personal income tax structure

The gross GST collection for the month of January 2022 is Rs 1,40,986 crore which is the highest since the inception of GST, said Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. FM Nirmala Sitharaman has not announced any change in the Income Tax Bracket for tax paying individuals while Co-operative surcharge to be reduced from 12% to 7%.
