Aviation regulator DGCA found the safety management system of Air India Express, SpiceJet, AirAsia, IndiGo and GoAir to be deficient after conducting a safety audit on these airlines. The audits reveal that flight crew rostering software wasn't upgraded, and the untrained staff was manning check-in counters, said civil aviation minister Hardeep Singh Puri. Another serious lapse found was a delay in corrective actions for FOQA.
