DRDO Chief asserted India will be totally self-reliant in Defence production in next 5 years

While giving a lecture at an event planned by Aeronautical Society of India, DRDO Chief Satheesh Reddy told that India will be self-reliant in defence production in the next 5 years & won't require critical technologies from outside. He added India is self-reliant in many areas such as radars, electronic warfare system, torpedoes & communication systems. We have our own aircraft carrier & can develop our own tanks today.
