The equation in the ongoing tussle for the government formation in Maharashtra has changed drastically as the former CM and BJP's probable CM candidate for the next term resigned. Fadnavis submitted his resignation to Governor BS Koshyari at the Raj Bhawan in Mumbai on Friday. The decision came after Shivsena refused to leave its claim on the Chief Minister's post. The term of the existing Assembly is going to end on November 9.
