PM Modi virtually chaired a high-level meeting to review the COVID-19 situation in the country amid a recent surge in the number of cases. During the meeting, a detailed presentation highlighting the surge in cases currently being reported globally was given by Health Secretary. This was followed by the status of COVID-19 in India highlighting various states and districts of concern.
