Amid the tensions building up between China and United States at the South China sea, the Chinese consulate in Houston reportedly attempted burning documents in the courtyard. Locals saw flames and smoke coming out from the building and called up the fire officials. When officials reached the spot to douse the fire, they realised that the office of the Consulate General of China was reportedly burning documents.
