Chinese ambassador to Israel found dead at home

China’s Ambassador to Israel Du Wei was found dead in bed at his apartment in a Tel Aviv suburb, Israeli police have reported. The 57-year-old’s cause of death has not yet been revealed but local media says he died in his sleep of natural causes. Wei was only appointed ambassador earlier in February having previously worked as China's envoy to Ukraine. He was living in the Tel Aviv suburb of Herzliya alone.
