BrahMos supersonic cruise missile test fired successfully

The Indo-Russian supersonic cruise missile BrahMos has been successfully test fired today from Chandipur in Odisha Coast. The trial was to check the ‘life extension’ technologies and other upgrades done by DRDO for the first time in India and it will save a lot of replacement cost of missiles. Nirmala Sitharaman, the defence minister has congratulated the BrahMos team and DRDO scientists team for the achievement.
