Anita Anand set to become first Hindu cabinet minister in Canada

Canada’s prime minister Justin Trudeau revealed the list of names that will feature in his new cabinet and the list included the name of Anita Anand. Anand will be the first Hindu to become a cabinet minister in Canada. She was elected to the House of Commons for the first time in the October federal elections and was named the minister of public services and procurement. She won the election from Oakville in Ontario.
