Amit Shah hints at changes in Citizenship Act

There’s a possibility of productive discussions on some requested changes in the controversial Citizenship Act, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday said adding that he will speak to Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma on the same. While addressing a public rally in Jharkhand he also assured Assam and other Northeast states that their culture, language, social identity and political rights won’t be affected by the act.
