Amid Russian invasion, Paris' Eiffel Tower lights up in blue and yellow in solidarity with Ukraine

At the request of Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, the Eiffel Tower was lit up in the national blue-and-yellow colours of Ukraine on Friday, which Hidalgo said was to express solidarity with the people of Ukraine in the wake of Russia`s attack. The monument's operator said the monument will be illuminated in Ukraine's national colours 'in support of the Ukrainian people' for three nights.
