22 states remove border check posts

With the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), truckers are having a smooth sailing across the check-posts, which have been abolished in 22 states and will soon stop operating in other states. State level check posts used to collect taxes on movement of goods which will not be required under the GST regime that took effect from July 1.
