Treaty of Nissa, a treaty of peace was signed by the Ottoman Empire and Russian Empire on October 3rd in the year 1739 to end up the Russio-Turkish War. As per the treaty of Nissa, Russians gave up their claim to Crimea and Moldavia. However, they were allowed to build a port at Azov that too without the right to have a fleet in the Black sea. The Austrian peace treaty compelled Russia to accept the peace at Nissa.
