Kamal Haasan was born in a Tamil Iyengar household on November 7, 1954, to D. Srinivasan, a lawyer and independence fighter, and Rajalakshmi, a housewife. Parthasarathy was Haasan's given name at first. Kamal Haasan is an actor, screenwriter, director, producer, singer, choreographer, and lyricist, among other things. Haasan's career began in the Tamil cinema business. He achieved popularity with Apoorva Raagangal and went on to become a well-known name among Indian performers. He is the recipient of four National Awards and 19 Filmfare Awards. Seven of his films have received Academy Award nominations.
