Shane Watson overcame a poor start to score an unbeaten 117 to lead Chennai Super Kings to their third Indian Premier League (IPL) title with an eight-wicket triumph against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium. Shane Watson selected the Wankhede Stadium, surrounded by a sea of yellow, to put on a display. The 36-year-old muscular opener hit an unbroken 117 off 57 balls, as if to prove a point on behalf of his experienced colleagues to detractors who had ridiculed CSK as Dad's Army for choosing several in the 30-plus age category.
