He was born between 25 August and 31 October 1451 and died on 20 May 1506. His expeditions were the first European contacts with the Caribbean, Central America, and South America, and were sponsored by the Catholic Monarchs of Spain.

Mohanlal Viswanathan (born 21 May 1960) is an Indian actor, film producer, playback singer, television host, and film distributor who primarily works in Malayalam cinema but has also appeared in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada-language films. Mohanlal has had a prolific career spanning four decades, in which he has appeared in over 400 films. Bipin Chandra Pal (7 November 1858 – 20 May 1932) was an Indian nationalist, writer, orator, social reformer, and freedom fighter in the Indian independence movement.
