Robert Lane Saget was an edgy and confrontational stand-up comedian, television personality, and actor. He was born and raised in Pennsylvania and studied acting at Temple University. Through Adam's Eyes was his debut piece, which he developed here. He began by doing stand-up comedy in numerous comedic clubs, where he met several well-known comedians. It was finally his starring part in the American comedy Full House, in which he played a widower father with three young daughters, that brought him the acclaim he deserved. Bob Saget was born to Benjamin and Rosalyn Saget in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His father worked as a grocery executive, while his mother was a hospital administrator.
