Stevland Hardaway Morris (born May 13, 1950), better known as Stevie Wonder, is an American singer-songwriter and musician who is regarded as a pioneer and influence by musicians in a variety of genres such as rhythm and blues, pop, soul, gospel, funk, and jazz. His use of synthesisers and other electronic musical instruments as a virtual one-man band during the 1970s reshaped R&B conventions.
