The syrup was mixed with soda water, tasted good, and was sold for a nickel a glass. Coca-Cola was marketed as a drug that could "cure all nervous afflictions—sick headache, neuralgia, hysteria, melancholy, and so on..."

Swami Chinmayananda Saraswati (Balakrishna Menon; May 8, 1916 – August 3, 1993) was a Hindu spiritual leader and teacher. In 1951, he established the Chinmaya Mission, a global non-profit organisation dedicated to disseminating knowledge of Advaita Vedanta, the Bhagavad Gita, the Upanishads, and other ancient Hindu scriptures. Chinmayananda led a global Hindu spiritual and cultural renaissance through the Mission, popularising these spiritual texts and values and teaching them in English all over India and abroad.

The sculptural arrangement The Motherland Monument is one of the exhibits of the Museum of Ukraine's World War II History. It is located on one of Kyiv's highest points and can be viewed from anywhere in the city. Ernest Rutherford was a New Zealand physicist who became known as the father of nuclear physics. He lived from 30 August 1871 to 19 October 1937. According to Encyclopaedia Britannica, he is the greatest experimentalist since Michael Faraday (1791–1867). Aside from his work in his home country, he spent a significant portion of his career in Canada and the United Kingdom.

Patrick James Cummins, born 8 May 1993, is an Australian international cricketer and the current Test captain of Australia. In limited-overs cricket, he is the team's vice-captain. He is a hard-hitting right-handed batsman and a fast bowler. He represents New South Wales on a domestic level. Cummins made his Test debut in 2011 at the age of 18. Injuries forced him to retire from international cricket in 2015 and from Test cricket in 2017. Cummins received the Allan Border Medal for best Australian cricketer of the year and was named the ICC Test cricketer of the year following the conclusion of the 2019 cricket season.

Gopal Krishna Gokhale was born on May 9, 1866, in the Ratnagiri District of the Bombay Presidency to an impoverished but ostensibly respectable Chitapavan Brahmin family. He graduated from Elphinstone College with a bachelor's degree at the age of 18 and joined the prestigious Deccan Education Society. At the age of 22, Gokhale was appointed secretary of the illustrious Sarvajanik Sabha, Bombay's main political organisation. He also taught at Fergusson College and served as secretary of the Deccan Education Society in 1891. Gopal Krishna Gokhale was a nationalist leader in India. He was the President of the Indian National Congress, as well as a member of the Imperial Legislative Council and the founder of the Servants of India Society.

Dhirubhai Ambani and Champaklal Damani co-founded Reliance Commercial Corporation in the 1960s. The partnership ended in 1965, and Dhirubhai continued the firm's polyester business. Reliance Textiles Engineers Pvt. Ltd. was established in Maharashtra in 1966. In the same year, it established a synthetic fabrics mill in Naroda, Gujarat.
