The War of Ghaghra, fought in 1529, was a pivotal battle in the Mughal Empire's conquest of India. It was fought after the first Battle of Panipat in 1526 and the Battle of Khanwa in 1527. The battle was fought between Mughal forces led by Babur and the Sultanate of Bengal led by Sultan Nusrat Shah. Swami Chinmayananda Saraswati (Balakrishna Menon; May 8, 1916 – August 3, 1993) was a Hindu spiritual leader and teacher.
