The War of Ghaghra, fought in 1529, was a pivotal battle in the Mughal Empire's conquest of India. It was fought after the first Battle of Panipat in 1526 and the Battle of Khanwa in 1527. The battle was fought between Mughal forces led by Babur and the Sultanate of Bengal led by Sultan Nusrat Shah. Babur was now joined by Sultan Junaid Birlas of Jaunpur, who led a force of around 20,000 troops. The main body of the army, led by Askari, was ordered to march down the river to pull the enemy out of the camp. They were supposed to divert the Bengali army's attention long enough for a division led by Babur and Muhammad Zaman to move the artillery and musketmen over the river.

Even today, Rabindranath Tagore is recognised for his spiritual and mercurial poetry lyrics.

SpaceX is the creator of Starship as well as a commercial space enterprise best known for its International Space Station flights. Elon Musk launched SpaceX in 2002 with the purpose of lowering space transportation costs in order to allow Mars settlement. SpaceX develops the Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy launch vehicles, as well as multiple rocket engines, the Cargo Dragon, crew spacecraft, and Starlink communications satellites. Musk began looking for employees for his new space firm, SpaceX, in early 2002. Musk approached rocket engineer Tom Mueller and offered him to join his company. On May 6, 1856, in Freiberg, Moravia, in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Sigmund Freud was born to a wool trader and his second wife, Jakob and Amalie. This settlement, which is now known as Pbor, is located in the Czech Republic. Sigmund Freud was an Austrian neurologist best recognised as the creator of psychoanalysis. Freud established a set of talk therapy-centered therapeutic approaches that included the use of tactics such as transference, free association, and dream interpretation.

Gulshan Kumar Dua (May 5, 1956 – August 12, 1997) was an Indian businessman and film and music producer who founded the Super Cassettes Industries Limited (T-Series) music label in the Bollywood industry. He founded T-Series in the 1980s and helped it become a major record label in the 1990s. He was murdered in 1997 by the Mumbai underworld syndicate D-Company. T-Series has been run by his younger brother Krishan Kumar and son Bhushan Kumar since his death.  Tulsi and Khushali Kumar, his daughters, are also playback singers.

Bahubali 2: The Conclusion was also the highest-grossing Indian film in the world, grossing $7.92 billion in six days. It was the first Indian film to enter the 1000 Crore Club, grossing more than ten billion rupees in all Indian languages. By the end of two weeks, it had earned more than $12.5 billion in all languages. The film was the 39th highest-grossing film of 2017, grossing over 14.169 billion rupees (US$218 million) in India and over 2.896 billion rupees (US$44 million) overseas, for a total worldwide gross of 17.065 billion rupees (US$262 million) as of September 2017.

George Timothy Clooney was born in Lexington, Kentucky, to entertainer Nick Clooney and beauty queen Nina Bruce on May 6, 1961. Amyra Dastur is an Indian actress who began her career as a model in advertisements for brands such as Clean & Clear, Dove, Airtel, and Micromax. Amyra has appeared in films in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. She co-starred with Emraan Hashmi in Vikram Bhatt's sci-fi thriller Mr. X. She also made her Tamil debut in Anegan, co-starring with Dhanush. Amyra co-created her first international production, Kung Fu Yoga, with Jackie Chan, which was launched in India on February 3, 2017.

Motilal Nehru, an Indian National Congress member and independence leader, was born on May 6, 1861. Motilal Nehru was born in Agra to Delhi Kotwal Gangadhar Nehru and his wife Jeorani. Motilal was raised by his elder brother, who relocated the entire family to Allahabad to practise law. Motilal studied at Allahabad and passed his High Court test in 1883. He then attended Cambridge University, where he studied to become a barrister. He became interested in the liberation movement after joining the INC. In 1918, he broke away from the INC's moderate group and began campaigning for more radical government reforms. To attain this goal, he continued to favour solely constitutional measures.

From 1975 until his death, Sean Connery was married to French-Moroccan painter Micheline Roquebrune. Connery's marriage survived a well-publicized romance with singer and composer Lynsey de Paul in the late 1980s, which she subsequently deeply regretted owing to his views on domestic abuse.

Karl Heinrich Marx was a German philosopher, critic of political economy, economist, historian, sociologist, political theorist, journalist, and socialist revolutionary who was born on May 5, 1818 and died on March 14, 1883. The Communist Manifesto, published in 1848, and the three-volume Das Kapital (1867–1883) are two of his most well-known works. Marx's political and philosophical ideas shaped subsequent intellectual, economic, and political history. His name has been used as an adjective, a noun, and a social theory school. Marx was born in Trier, Germany, and attended the universities of Bonn and Berlin, where he studied law and philosophy. In 1843, he married Jenny von Westphalen, a German theatre critic and political activist. Marx became stateless as a result of his political writings and lived in exile with his wife and children

Guru Amar Das, born on 5 May 1479 and died on 1 September 1574, was the third of the Ten Gurus of Sikhism and became Sikh Guru on 26 March 1552 at the age of 73. Before becoming a Sikh (Shishya from Sanskrit), he was deeply moved by his nephew's wife, Bibi Amro, reciting a hymn by Guru Nanak on a lovely pilgrimage after being prompted to seek a guru.

Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, commonly known as Rajarshi Shahu, was widely regarded as a genuine democracy and social reformer. He was the first Maharaja of the princely state of Kolhapur, and he was a priceless pearl in Maharashtra's history. Shahu Maharaj, who was greatly influenced by the efforts of social reformer Jyotiba Phule, was an excellent leader and able ruler who was involved in numerous innovative and ground-breaking actions during his reign. On May 6, 1922, the famous social reformer Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj died. His eldest son Rajaram III succeeded him as Maharaja of Kolhapur. Unfortunately, the changes undertaken by Chhatrapati Shahu soon ceased and faded due to a lack of capable leadership to carry on the legacy.

On May 6, 2010, he was condemned to death on four charges and life in prison on five. On February 21, 2011, the Bombay High Court affirmed Kasab's death sentence. On August 29, 2012, the Supreme Court of India affirmed the judgement. Kasab was killed on November 21, 2012, at 7:30 a.m. IST, and was afterwards buried within the confines of Pune's Yerwada Central Jail. Kasab pleaded not guilty to 86 counts on May 6, 2009. He was condemned to death on May 6, 2010.
