Anand Gopal Mahindra (born May 1, 1955) is an Indian business magnate and the chairman of the Mahindra Group, a Mumbai-based conglomerate. Aerospace, agribusiness, aftermarket, automotive, components, construction equipment, defence, energy, farm equipment, finance and insurance, industrial equipment, information technology, leisure and hospitality, logistics, real estate, and retail are all part of the group's operations. Mahindra is the grandson of Mahindra & Mahindra co-founder Jagdish Chandra Mahindra. His net worth is estimated to be $1.6 billion as of January 2020. He attended Harvard University and Harvard Business School. In 1996, he founded Nanhi Kali, a non-profit organisation that promotes education for underprivileged girls in India.
