Jaswinder Singh Bains (born 1 April 1975) is an Indo-Canadian Punjabi singer and composer better known by his stage name Jazzy B. Jazzy B was born in the Indian city of Jalandhar, Punjab. His family relocated to Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, when he was five years old. Gugiyan Da Jora, his debut album, was released in 1993. Sukhshinder Shinda played the beat, and he advised him to come to England if he wanted to make a name for himself in Punjabi music. He is a major fan of the late vocalist Kuldeep Manak, which is one of the reasons Jazzy's album, Maharajas, published in 2011, is a homage to Kuldeep Manak, with some of Kuldeep's original vocals kept and many other songs sung.

Meghalaya, which translates as "abode of clouds," is a state in northeastern India. On 21 January 1972, Meghalaya was formed by carving out two districts from the state of Assam: the United Khasi Hills and Jaintia Hills, and the Garo Hills. Meghalaya was previously a part of Assam, but on January 21, 1972, the districts of Khasi, Garo, and Jaintia Hills were separated to form the new state of Meghalaya. Meghalaya's population in 2016 was estimated to be 3,211,474. Meghalaya has a land area of approximately 22,430 square kilometres and a length-to-breadth ratio of approximately 3:1. In 1970, Meghalaya became an independent state within India's Assam state.

The Reserve Bank of India is India's central bank and regulatory agency, in charge of issuing and supplying the Indian rupee as well as regulating the Indian banking sector. Alaska Purchase, the acquisition of 586,412 square miles of territory near the northern extremity of the North American continent by the United States from Russia, forming the modern U.S. state of Alaska. On March 30, 1867, the treaty was presented to the Senate for approval. Sen. Charles Sumner, an early opponent, testified in its favour for more than three hours, influenced in part by knowledge about the territory's enormous natural resources acquired during Smithsonian Institution-sponsored trips in 1859 and 1865. It was passed on April 9. On October 18, the United States officially gained possession with a flag-changing ceremony in Sitka.

Devika Rani, the first lady of Indian film, was born on March 30, 1908 in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh to Col. M. N. Chaudhuri. She is known as the "First Lady of Indian Cinema." The actress was married twice, first to Himanshu Rai and then to Svetoslav Roerich. Devika began her career with the film Karma (1933) and went on to appear in numerous other Bollywood films. She received the highest civilian honour, the Padma Shri, and was the first winner of the Dada Saheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award.

Logan Alexander Paul (born April 1, 1995) is a YouTuber and social media personality from the United States. He has been running the Impaulsive podcast since November 2018, in addition to posting on his own YouTube channel, and he currently has more than 23 million subscribers on YouTube as of January 2022. Paul amassed a following in 2013 after posting sketches on the video-sharing app Vine. On October 18, 2013, he launched his YouTube channel, TheOfficialLoganPaul, and began posting regularly after the Vine app was discontinued. On August 29, 2015, he launched the Logan Paul Vlogs channel, which has since become his most-subscribed YouTube channel.

Meira Kumar (born 31 March 1945) is a politician and former diplomat from India. She was the Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment from 2004 to 2009, the Minister of Water Resources for a brief while in 2009, and the 15th Speaker of the Lok Sabha from 2009 to 2014. Kumar became became the second woman to be nominated for president of India by a major political party when she received the candidacy of the United Progressive Alliance in 2017. Kumar has already served in the 8th, 11th, 12th, and 14th Lok Sabhas before being elected to the 15th Lok Sabha. Kumar was named as the top opposition parties' joint presidential candidate for the 2017 presidential election.

Vishal Veeru Devgan (born 2 April 1969) is an Indian actor, film director, and producer better known as Ajay Devgn. He's been in over a hundred Hindi films. Devgn has received a slew of awards, including two National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards. The Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian honour, was bestowed to him by the government in 2016. Devgan was born into a Punjabi family from Amritsar. The family has ties to Mumbai's Hindi film business. Veeru Devgan, Devgn's father, was a stunt choreographer and action-film director, and Veena, Devgn's mother, is a film producer. Anil Devgan, his brother, is a director and screenwriter. Devgn attended Mithibai College after graduating from Silver Beach High School in Juhu.

Guru Har Krishan was the eighth and final Sikh Guru. When he replaced his father Guru Har Rai as a five-year-old on October 7, 1661, he became Sikhism's youngest guru. When Har Krishan's father, the seventh Sikh Guru, died at the age of 31, he selected Har Krishan as his successor. Guru Har Krishan was exceptionally smart and mature for his age, despite the fact that he was just a tiny child when he donned the Guru Gaddi. On March 30, 1664, the guru just muttered, "Baba Bakala," before passing away. His granduncle Tegh Bahadur, who lived in the town of Baba Bakala, was named as his heir.

The Eiffel Structure is a wrought-iron lattice tower on Paris's Champ de Mars. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose firm planned and constructed the skyscraper. Guru Tegh Bahadur (April 1, 1621 – November 11, 1675) was the ninth of ten Gurus who created the Sikh religion and the Sikh leader from 1665 until his execution in 1675. He was the youngest son of Guru Hargobind, the sixth Sikh guru, and was born in Amritsar, Punjab, India in 1621. He was a skilled spiritual scholar and poet whose 115 songs are included in Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the basic book of Sikhism. Aurangzeb, the sixth Mughal emperor, had Guru Tegh Bahadur killed in Delhi, India. Sikh sacred sites in Delhi, Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib and Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib, mark the locations of execution and cremation.

David Robert Joseph Beckham was born on May 2, 1975, in the London neighbourhood of Leytonstone, to David Edward Alan Beckham and Sandra Georgina. Michael Fassbender (born 2 April 1977) is a racing driver and German-Irish actor. He has won a Screen Actors Guild Award, a Critics' Choice Movie Award, and has been nominated for two Academy Awards, four British Academy Film Awards, and three Golden Globe Awards. In the fantasy war epic 300, Fassbender made his feature film debut as a Spartan warrior (2007). Previously, he appeared in a number of stage productions as well as starring roles on television, including the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers (2001) and the Sky One fantasy drama Hex (2004–05). He rose to prominence after playing IRA volunteer Bobby Sands in Hunger (2008), for which he received a British Independent Film Award.

Marvin Gaye was an American singer and composer who lived from April 2, 1939 until April 1, 1984. In the 1960s, he helped establish the sound of Motown, first as an in-house session musician and subsequently as a solo artist with a run of singles, earning him the nicknames "Prince of Motown" and "Prince of Soul." On the afternoon of April 1, 1984, Gaye intervened in a fight between his parents in the family house in Los Angeles' Hancock Park district, and he became involved in a physical altercation with his father, Marvin Gay Sr., who shot Gaye twice, once in the chest, piercing his heart, and then into Gaye's shoulder. The first shot was lethal.

Vincent van Gogh was born in Zundert, a hamlet in the southern province of North Brabant, on March 30, 1853. Little is known about Vincent's childhood, save that he was a shy youngster with no noticeable creative skill. He will subsequently look back on his pleasant upbringing with fondness. No one, not even Van Gogh, knew that he possessed outstanding abilities when he decided to become an artist. His transformation from an unskilled but zealous novice to a really original master was astonishingly quick. Ranjitsinhji, the king of Nawanagar State and one of the best batters in cricket history, was born on September 10, 1872, in Sadodar, Nawanagar State, Kathiawar. He died on April 2, 1933, and was also known as the Maharaja Jam Sahib of Nawanagar. He played 15 Tests in his career, amassing 989 runs with a batting average of 44.95. In 500 first-class innings, he scored 24,693 runs at an average of 56.37. He struck 72 tonnes with 14 double centuries. Ranjitsinhji, who took over as king of Jamnagar on March 11, 1907, lost an eye in a shooting in 1915. He died on April 2, 1933, after a brief illness.

Marvin Gaye, born Marvin Pentz Gay Jr., was an American singer and songwriter who lived from April 2, 1939 to April 1, 1984. In the 1960s, he helped shape the sound of Motown, first as an in-house session player and later as a solo artist with a string of hits, earning him the nicknames "Prince of Motown" and "Prince of Soul." Sir Isaac Newton, who lived from 25 December 1642 to 31 March 1726/27, was an English mathematician, physicist, astronomer, alchemist, theologian, and author (dubbed a "natural philosopher" at the time) who is widely regarded as one of the greatest mathematicians and physicists of all time and among the most influential scientists. He was a pivotal player in the Enlightenment thought revolution. His 1687 work Philosophi Naturalis Principia Mathematica (Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy) developed classical mechanics. Newton also made important discoveries to optics and is credited with establishing infinitesimal calculus alongside German mathematician Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz.

Project Tiger is a tiger conservation effort initiated by the Government of India in April 1973, during Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's reign. The initiative seeks to provide a sustainable population of Bengal tigers in their native habitats, protect them from extinction, and preserve regions of ecological value as a natural legacy that represent the diversity of ecosystems across the country's tiger range. The task group for the project envisioned these tiger reserves as breeding centres from which surplus tigers would move to neighbouring forests. Funds and commitment were raised to support the project's extensive habitat conservation and rehabilitation effort.

Walter Percy Chrysler, who lived from April 2, 1875 to August 18, 1940, was an American automotive industry pioneer, executive, and the founder and namesake of American Chrysler Corporation. Chrysler was born in Wamego, Kansas, to Anna Maria (née Breymann) and Henry Chrysler. He grew up in Ellis, Kansas, where his childhood home is now a museum. His father was born in 1850 in Chatham, Ontario, and immigrated to the United States sometime after 1858. Chrysler, a Freemason, began his career in Ellis as a machinist and railroad mechanic. He attended International Correspondence Schools in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and earned a mechanical degree through the correspondence programme.

Asa Maxwell Thornton Farr Butterfield is an English actor who was born on April 1, 1997. He has received two Critics' Choice Awards, two Saturn Awards, and three Young Artist Awards nominations. Butterfield began his career as a child actor and rose to prominence as the lead in the historical drama film The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas (2008). During the 2010s, he continued to be a box office draw, appearing in the adventure drama Hugo (2011), the war science fiction film Ender's Game (2013), the drama X+Y (2014), and the fantasy Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016). Kapil Sharma (born April 2, 1981) is an Indian stand-up comedian, television host, television actor, and film and television producer best known for hosting The Kapil Sharma Show. He formerly presented the comedy series Comedy Nights with Kapil and Family Time with Kapil on television. Sharma was named the most popular Indian television personality in April 2016 by Ormax Media. In 2016, and 2017, Forbes India rated him 11th and 18th on their Celebrity 100 list, respectively. In 2013, he was named CNN-IBN Indian of the Year in the entertainment category, and in 2015, he was placed third in The Economic Times' Most Admired Indian Personality List. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi nominated Sharma for the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in 2014.

Sheila Dikshit (March 31, 1938 – July 20, 2019)  was an Indian politician. She was the longest-serving Chief Minister of Delhi, as well as the longest-serving female Chief Minister of any Indian state, commencing in 1998. In Delhi, Dikshit led the Congress party to three consecutive electoral triumphs. She is known as the modern Delhi's architect. Dikshit lost the Delhi Legislative Assembly elections in December 2013 to the Bharatiya Janata Party, however the Aam Aadmi Party created a minority administration with outside backing from the INC, with Arvind Kejriwal as chief minister. In 2014, she served as the Governor of Kerala for a limited period of time. Dikshit was later named the Indian National Congress's chief ministerial candidate.

Guru Angad, who lived from 31 March 1504 to 29 March 1552, was the second of Sikhism's ten gurus. After meeting the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Dev Ji, becoming a Sikh, and serving and working with Guru Nanak Dev Ji for many years, Nanak gave Lehna the name Angad ("my own limb") and designated Angad as the second Sikh Guru. Guru Angad Sahib ji headed the Sikh heritage after Guru Nanak Dev Ji died in 1539. In Sikhism, he is known for adopting and formalising the Gurmukhi alphabet. He began the task of collating Nanak's hymns and contributed 62 or 63 of his own.

Remo D'Souza (born Ramesh Gopi on April 2, 1974) is a choreographer, actor, and film director from India. D'Souza was born on April 2, 1974, in Bangalore, to a cook in the Indian Air Force and Madhvi Laxmi from Olavakkode, Palakkad, Kerala. Ganesh, his eldest brother, and four sisters complete his family. He attended the Air Force School in Jamnagar, Gujarat. He was an athlete at school, winning medals in the 100 metre event. D'Souza is a choreographer who has worked on Bollywood films and music videos. He has choreographed several films. Remo made his television debut as a judge and mentor on the dance reality show Dance India Dance (DID), alongside choreographer Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapoor.

Samuel Finley Breese Morse was an American inventor and painter who lived from April 27, 1791 to April 2, 1872. After establishing a reputation as a portrait painter, Morse contributed to the development of a single-wire telegraph system based on European telegraphs in his middle years. He was a co-inventor of Morse code and aided in the commercialization of telegraphy. In 1872, Samuel Morse, the American painter and inventor of the electric telegraph and Morse Code, dies at the age of 80.

Catherine Hogarth was born in Scotland, the oldest daughter of George and Georgina Hogarth. Her family migrated to England in 1834, where her father worked as a music critic for the Morning Chronicle. They met in 1834, fell in love in 1835, and married in April 1836. The first of their 10 children was born in January 1837. Dickens became dissatisfied with Catherine and his marriage. He was irritated by the fact that he had to support so many children. Catherine's lack of vitality did not sit well with him. He began to imply that she was not, and had never been, his intellectual equal.

Randal Keith "Randy" Orton (born April 1, 1980) is a professional wrestler and actor most known to sports entertainment audiences for his work with WWE. Orton was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, to parents Bob Orton, Jr. and Elaine Orton. He is the grandson of wrestler-turned-musician Bob Orton, Sr. and the nephew of wrestler-turned-musician Barry Orton. His parents discouraged him from pursuing a career in professional wrestling because of the significant amount of time spent away from home and family. Orton, on the other hand, continued to wrestle on an amateur level while attending Hazelwood Central High School, and the rest is history.

Meena Kumari (born Mahjabeen Bano; lived from 1 August 1933 – 31 March 1972 was an Indian cinema actress and poet. She was well known as The Tragedy Queen and lived from 1939 and 1972. Critics referred to Kumari as a "historically unparalleled" Hindi film actress. She appeared in 92 films during the course of her 33-year career, including Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam, Pakeezah, Mere Apne, Aarti, Baiju Bawra, Parineeta, Dil Apna Aur Preet Parai, Foot Path, Dil Ek Mandir, and Kaajal. Meena Kumari received four Filmfare Awards for Best Actress. She won the first Filmfare Best Actress Award for Baiju Bawra in 1954, and she repeated the feat in the second Filmfare.
