Alaska Purchase, the acquisition of 586,412 square miles of territory near the northern extremity of the North American continent by the United States from Russia, forming the modern U.S. state of Alaska. On March 29, 1857, at the Barrackpore parade field outside Calcutta, 29-year-old Mangal Pandey of the 34th BNI stated his intention to revolt against his superiors, incensed by the East India Company's previous acts. Akhil Kumar (born March 27, 1981) is an Indian boxer who has won several international and national boxing championships. He boxes in a "open guarded" manner. For his exploits in international boxing, he received the Arjuna Award from the Indian government in 2005. The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India nominated Akhil Kumar and Mary Kom as national observers for boxing in March 2017. Kumar made his international boxing debut in 1999, earning gold at the 6th YMCA Junior International Boxing Championship. In 2001, he won another gold medal in Russia at the International Invitational Boxing Championship. He won a gold medal in the flyweight division in 2003, defeating Vilitio M Payla (Php) 20-16.

Akshaye Khanna is an Indian Bollywood actor who was born on March 28, 1975 in Mumbai, Maharashtra to veteran actor Vinod Khanna and former model Geetanjali Khanna. Tarantino was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, and grew up in Los Angeles. He began his career as an independent director in 1992 with the release of Reservoir Dogs, a criminal thriller partially funded by the sale of his script True Romance (1993); Empire named Reservoir Dogs the "Greatest Independent Film of All Time." His second film, Pulp Fiction (1994), a criminal comedy, was a critical and commercial triumph, winning multiple prizes, including the Palme d'Or and the Academy Award.

Anupam Roy (born 29 March 1982) is a West Bengal-born Indian singer, writer, composer, and playback vocalist. Anupam Roy, a significant personality in the Bengali cinema industry, is an Indian lyricist, music composer, and performer from Kolkata, West Bengal. Anupam, who came to prominence with his song 'Amake Amar Moto Thake Dao' in the Bengali film Autograph in 2010, made his Bollywood debut in 2015 with the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Piku.

Ram Charan was born in Madras, Tamil Nadu, on March 27, 1985. He is Megastar Chiranjeevi's son and Pawan Kalyan's nephew. He is also Nagendra Babu's nephew and producer Allu Aravind's grandson, the grandson of famed comedian Allu Ramalingaiah, and the cousin of actor Allu Arjun. Guru Har Krishan was the eighth and final Sikh Guru. When he replaced his father Guru Har Rai as a five-year-old on October 7, 1661, he became Sikhism's youngest guru.
