Terrence Stephen McQueen was an American actor who lived from March 24, 1930 until November 7, 1980. His antihero character, which was highlighted during the 1960s counterculture heyday, earned him a top box-office draw for his films from the late 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. He was known as the "King of Cool" and raced under the identity Harvey Mushman. McQueen was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in The Sand Pebbles.
