Omar Abdullah, born 10 March 1970, is an Indian politician and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. From 1913 until 1919, Michael O'Dwyer served as the Lieutenant Governor of Punjab in British India. When he was governor of Punjab, the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre occurred. Sardar Udham Singh travelled to London for approximately 20 years to exact vengeance for the atrocity, and on March 13, 1940, he shot dead former Lieutenant Governor of Punjab Michael O'Dwyer. On 13 March 1940, an Indian revolutionary, Udham Singh, shot O'Dwyer dead at a combined gathering of the East India Association and the Central Asian Society in Caxton Hall in Westminster, London, in vengeance for the carnage in Amritsar.

Sambhaji Bhosale, who reigned from 1681 to 1689 and lived from 14 May 1657 to 11 March 1689, was the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire.
