Sarojini Naidu born on 13 February 1879 was a political activist and poet from India. She was a significant person in India's movement for independence from colonial authority, advocating for civil rights, women's emancipation, and anti-imperialistic beliefs. Because of the colour, imagery, and lyrical nature of her poems, Naidu acquired the moniker "the Nightingale of India" or "Bharat Kokila" by Mahatma Gandhi.

John Franklin Candy was a Canadian actor and comedian best known for his work in Hollywood films. He was born on October 31, 1950. Candy rose to prominence in the 1970s as a member of the Second City Toronto branch and its Second City Television series, as well as in comedic films such as Stripes, Splash, Cool Runnings, Summer Rental, The Great Outdoors, Spaceballs, and Uncle Buck, as well as more dramatic roles in Only the Lonely and JFK.
