DJ Snake was born on June 13, 1986, in the Parisian district of Ermont to Algerian immigrants. Snake, who considered his childhood neighbourhood to be a slum, dropped out of school at the age of 15 to work in a well-known record store in Paris. William Sami Etienne Grigahcine, better known as DJ Snake, is a French rapper and deejay who rose to prominence after receiving two Grammy Award nominations for his songwriting and production abilities. DJ Snake initially collaborated with Lady Gaga to write, record, and release her album, 'Born This Way,' which was nominated for a Grammy Award. Later, he collaborated with US-based rapper and record producer Lil Jon on the latter's song video, 'Turn Down for What,' which was nominated for a Grammy for 'Best Music Video.'
