Lalu Prasad Yadav is an Indian politician who was born on June 11, 1948. He is the president of the political party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), as well as a former Chief Minister of Bihar, Union Minister of Railways, and Lok Sabha Member. He began his political career as a student leader at Patna University, and at the age of 29, he was elected to the Lok Sabha as the Janata Party's youngest member. In 1990, he was elected Chief Minister of Bihar. In the 2015 Bihar Legislative Assembly election, his party partnered with Nitish Kumar of the JD (U) to win power (U).

Pichai Sundararajan, better known as Sundar Pichai, is an Indian-American business executive who was born on June 10, 1972. He is the founder and CEO of Alphabet Inc., as well as its subsidiary Google. Pichai was born in Madurai, India, and received his metallurgical engineering degree from IIT Kharagpur. After moving to the United States, he earned an M.S. in materials science and engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, where he was named a Siebel Scholar and a Palmer Scholar, respectively.

Kirron Anupam Kher began her career as a theatre artist before entering politics as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. She made her political debut in May 2014, when she was elected to the Lok Sabha, India's lower house of parliament, representing Chandigarh. 

The World Day Against Child Labor is an ILO-sanctioned holiday that was first observed in 2002 with the goal of raising awareness and activism to prevent child labour. Ratifications of ILO Conventions No. 138 on the minimum age for employment and No. 182 on the worst forms of child labour fueled the movement. Every year on June 12, the World Day Against Child Labor is commemorated to promote the global anti-child labour movement.

Later, he collaborated with US-based rapper and record producer Lil Jon on the latter's song video, 'Turn Down for What,' which was nominated for a Grammy for 'Best Music Video.'

Peter Hayden Dinklage (born June 11, 1969) is an actor and producer from the United States. He is best known for his role as Tyrion Lannister on HBO's Game of Thrones (2011–2019), for which he won a record four Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. He also won a Golden Globe Award for the role in 2011 and a Screen Actors Guild Award in 2020.

Mark Jerrold Henry (born June 12, 1971) is an American powerlifter, Olympic weightlifter, strongman, and retired professional wrestler who works as a commentator/analyst, coach, and talent scout for All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He is best known for his 25-year career as a two-time world champion in WWE. He is a two-time Olympian (1992 and 1996), as well as a Pan American Games gold, silver, and bronze medalist from 1995.

Blood donations are vital to foreign health systems and can only be made by volunteers. Every year on June 14th, World Blood Donor Day is observed. Karl Landsteiner, who earned the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1930 for his work in categorising blood types, was born on this day. Landsteiner was the first to divide human blood into four groups: A, B, AB, and O.

Albert II became the first monkey in space on June 14, 1949, but he perished on reentry when the parachute of his capsule failed. Pioneer 10 passed through Saturn's orbit in 1976 and Uranus' orbit in 1979. On June 13, 1983, the vehicle passed the orbit of Neptune, the Solar System's outermost planet at the time, becoming the first human-made object to leave the Solar System's main planets' neighbourhood. Pioneer 10 made its final transmission to Earth from a distance of 7.6 billion miles in January 2003. NASA maintained routine communication with Pioneer 10 for more than two decades until March 31, 1997, at 19:35 UT, when normal contact was ended owing to budgetary constraints.
