Lala Lajpat Rai was an Indian freedom campaigner who born  on January 28, 1865. He was a key figure in the Indian independence struggle. Punjab Kesari was his popular moniker. He was one of the Lal Bal Pal triumvirate's three members. In 1894, he was also involved in the early phases of the Punjab National Bank and the Lakshmi Insurance Company. The peacock was designated as India's national bird in 1963 because it was integral to Indian customs and culture. A peacock represents elegance and beauty.
