The Raman Effect was discovered on February 28, 1987, by physicist Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman. For his research on "The scattering of light and the discovery of the Raman effect," Raman was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1930.

Because of the colour, imagery, and lyrical nature of her poems, Naidu acquired the moniker "the Nightingale of India" or "Bharat Kokila" by Mahatma Gandhi.

He was found by American record entrepreneur Scooter Braun and signed with RBMG Records in 2008, quickly established himself as a teen idol with the release of his debut seven-track EP My World (2009). My World 2.0 (2010), Bieber's adolescent pop-driven debut studio album, debuted atop the US Billboard 200, becoming him the youngest solo male performer to top the chart in 47 years.
