Tshering Phintso "Danny" Denzongpa (born February 25, 1948) is an Indian actor, musician, and film director best known for his work in Hindi cinema. Since 1971, he has appeared in over 190 films. Denzongpa received the Padma Shree, India's fourth-highest civilian honour, in 2003. His cinematic career spans over four decades. He has also participated in various foreign films, the most well-known of which being Seven Years in Tibet, in which he co-starred with Brad Pitt.
