Hailee Steinfeld (born December 11, 1996) is an actor and singer from the United States. Her breakthrough came with the western drama picture True Grit (2010), for which she received Academy Award, BAFTA Award, and SAG Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress. Ender's Game (2013), Romeo & Juliet (2013), Begin Again (2013), and 3 Days to Kill (2013) catapulted Steinfeld to popular fame (2014). She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and a Critics' Choice Movie Award for her parts in the Pitch Perfect film series (2015–2017) and the coming-of-age comedy-drama film The Edge of Seventeen (2016). Steinfeld went on to voice Gwen Stacy / Spider-Woman in the animation film Spider-Man: Into the Spid
