Shatrughan Prasad Sinha (born July 15, 1946) is an Indian politician and actor. He served in the Lok Sabha (2009–2014, 2014–2019) and the Rajya Sabha (1996–2002, 2002–2008) representing Patna Sahib. In the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government, he was a Union Cabinet Minister for Health and Family Welfare and Shipping. From 2014 until 2019, he served on the standing committee on transportation, tourism, and culture, as well as the consultative committee in the Ministry of External Affairs and Overseas Indian Affairs. Anything except Khamosh, his biography, was published in 2016.

Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman (7 November 1888 – 21 November 1970) was an Indian physicist who specialised in light scattering. Using a spectrograph he invented, he and his student K. S. Krishnan found that as light passes through a transparent medium, the wavelength and frequency of the deflected light changes. Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman, an Indian, receives the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930 for his work on light scattering, making him the first Asian and non-white person to do so.

Alfred Bernhard Nobel was born on October 21, 1833, in Stockholm, Sweden. Alfred Nobel is well-known for the yearly prizes he bestows in research, literature, and peace. Despite being born into poverty, his family members were innovative and enterprising; they worked hard and achieved success. Alfred was the family's scientist, creating and producing dynamite, the blasting cap, gelignite, and ballistite. He became extremely wealthy as a result of the profits from his explosives enterprises. Alfred Nobel died on December 10, 1896, at the age of 63, in San Remo, Italy, of a stroke.

Pandit Ravi Shankar was an Indian composer and musician best known for popularising the Indian classical instrument Sitar around the world. Shankar grew up learning music and performing with his brother's dance ensemble. He began touring India and the United States after serving as the director of All-India Radio. During this time, he worked with a number of prominent musicians, including George Harrison and Philip Glass. He has cooperated with the famed band 'The Beatles,' further popularising Sitar. Shankar, who received three of India's highest civilian honours, died in California in December 2012, at the age of 92.
