The first edition of "The Guinness Book of Records" is published in Great Britain on August 27, 1955, and it quickly becomes a hit. The annual publication, now known as the "Guinness World Records" book, features a wide range of human and animal feats.

Mother Teresa was born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu on August 26, 1910, in Skopje, Macedonia. Her ancestors were Albanians. She felt a strong call from God when she was twelve years old.
