The North Atlantic Treaty, also known as the Washington Treaty, is the treaty that serves as the legal foundation for and governs the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). On April 4, 1949, the treaty was signed in Washington, D.C.
The treaty went into effect on August 24, 1949.

 Abbas-Mustan directed the Indian Hindi-language action comedy film Baadshah. On August 27, 1999, it was released. The film's lead actors are Shah Rukh Khan and Twinkle Khanna. Khan was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Comic Role for his work in the film. The central plot of the film is based on the 1995 American film Nick of Time and the 1998 film Rush Hour.
