Subhas Chandra Bose was an Indian nationalist who lived from 23 January 1897 to 18 August 1945. The honorific Netaji (Hindustani for "Respected Leader") was bestowed upon Bose in early 1942 by Indian soldiers of the Indische Legion and German and Indian officials in Berlin's Special Bureau for India. Sampooran Singh Kalra (born August 18, 1934) is an Indian poet, lyricist, author, screenwriter, and film director best known for his work in Hindi cinema.
