Guglielmo Giovanni Maria Marconi (25 April 1874 – 20 July 1937) was an Italian inventor and electrical engineer best known for developing the first practical radio wave-based wireless telegraph system. As a result, Marconi is widely regarded as the inventor of radio, and he shared the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1909 with Karl Ferdinand Braun "in recognition of their contributions to the development of wireless telegraphy." Marconi was also a businessman and entrepreneur who founded The Wireless Telegraph & Signal Company in the United Kingdom in 1897. (which became the Marconi Company). King Victor Emmanuel III of Italy ennobled Marconi as a Marchese (marquis) in 1929, and in 1931, he established Vatican Radio for Pope Pius XI.

William Shakespeare (26 April 1564 – 23 April 1616) was a playwright, poet, and actor from England. He is widely regarded as the greatest English-language writer and the world's greatest dramatist. He is commonly referred to as England's national poet and the "Bard of Avon" (or simply "the Bard"). His extant works, including collaborations, include 39 plays, 154 sonnets, three long narrative poems, and a few other verses, the authorship of which is unknown. His plays have been translated into every major living language and have been performed more frequently than any other playwright's. His works are still being studied and reinterpreted.

Gedhun Choekyi Nyima was born on April 25, 1989, and is the 11th Panchen Lama of the Gelugpa school of Tibetan Buddhism, as recognised and announced by the 14th Dalai Lama on May 14, 1995. Three days later, on May 17, the Chinese government kidnapped the 6-year-old Panchen Lama after the State Council of the People's Republic of China failed to install a replacement. A Chinese substitute is viewed as a political tool to undermine the Dalai Lama's reincarnation, which is traditionally recognised by the Panchen Lama. Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, along with his family, has been detained by the Chinese government in an undisclosed location since 1995. Chadrel Rinpoche, his khenpo, and Jampa Chungla, another Gelugpa monk, were also detained.

Sawai Raja Sur Singh, also known as Suraj Mal, was the Raja of the Marwar Kingdom from 24 April 1571 until 7 September 1619. His sister was Emperor Jahangir's third wife and Shah Jahan's mother. On his father's death on July 11, 1595, he ascended to the throne. In acknowledgment of his great achievements, he received the hereditary title of Sawai Raja from Princes Murad and Daniyal Mirza in the conquest of Gujarat and the Deccan for Emperor Akbar. On September 7, 1619, he perished while on active duty at Mahaikat, Deccan.

Arijit Singh (born April 25, 1987) is an Indian singer-composer. He primarily sings in Hindi and Bengali, but he has also performed in a number of other Indian languages. He has received a National Award as well as a record six Filmfare Awards. He is frequently cited as one of the best singers in the Indian and Pakistani music industries, and he has a large fan base across South Asia. J. Robert Oppenheimer who lived from April 22, 1904 to  February 18, 1967 was an American theoretical physicist and University of California, Berkeley professor of physics. Oppenheimer was the wartime director of the Los Alamos Laboratory and is widely regarded as the "Father of the Atomic Bomb" for his role in the Manhattan Project, the World War II effort that produced the first nuclear weapons. Oppenheimer was present at the Trinity test in New Mexico, where the first atomic bomb was detonated successfully on July 16, 1945. He later remarked that the explosion reminded him of a line from the Bhagavad Gita: "Now I am Death, the destroyer of worlds."
