Allu Arjun (born April 8, 1982) is an Indian actor best known for his work in Telugu films. Allu is one of the highest-paid actors in South India, and he is well-known for his dancing abilities. He has won several awards, including five Filmfare Awards South and five Nandi Awards. He has been included in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list since 2014, based on his income and popularity. Allu made his film debut in 2003 with Gangotri. He rose to prominence as the lead actor in Sukumar's cult classic Arya (2004), for which he received a Nandi Special Jury Award. Allu won his first Filmfare Award for his performance in the romantic drama Parugu in 2008.
