Remo D'Souza (born Ramesh Gopi on April 2, 1974) is a choreographer, actor, and film director from India. D'Souza was born on April 2, 1974, in Bangalore, to a cook in the Indian Air Force and Madhvi Laxmi from Olavakkode, Palakkad, Kerala. Ganesh, his eldest brother, and four sisters complete his family. He attended the Air Force School in Jamnagar, Gujarat. He was an athlete at school, winning medals in the 100 metre event. D'Souza is a choreographer who has worked on Bollywood films and music videos. He has choreographed several films. Remo made his television debut as a judge and mentor on the dance reality show Dance India Dance (DID), alongside choreographer Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapoor.
