A 27-year-old woman named M Loganayagi from Puliyampatti near Pochampalli in Tamil Nadu lost her life due to severe blood loss after giving birth at home. The woman and her husband, D Madesh, 30, both graduates, reportedly chose not to go to the hospital for the delivery, believing in "naturopathy". The incident occurred on Tuesday, August 22, leading to the woman's untimely demise.
