A federal grand jury announced 17 new charges under Espionage Act against Wikileaks co-founder Julian Assange, who is currently in UK jail awaiting an extradition hearing. The new indictment relates to US documents WikiLeaks published in 2010; he allegedly revealed the names of individuals working with US govt, thus endangering their lives. He faces up to 10 years in prison on each count, plus a 5 from previous indictment.
