Vice-Admiral Karambir Singh emerges as Chief of Indian Naval Staff

The Indian Government has today appointed Vice-Admiral Karambir Singh as the next Chief of Naval Staff and Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Sunil Lanba will say bye to the office on 31st May 2019. The announcement was made today in the afternoon. In his 36 years of career, Karambir has commanded an Indian Coast Guard Ship, a Naval Missile Corvette as well as Guided Missile Destroyers.
