Terrorists attacks tripled in Jammu & Kashmir in the last 5 years : Govt

The Indian government said there had been a spike in the number of terrorist incidents in Jammu & Kashmir since 2014, with the number of reported incidents rising from 222 in 2014 to 614 in 2018. The rising trend was not only limited to terror attacks but also observed in the number of militants who were neutralised in the last 5 years. Indian armed forces neutralised 733 terrorists in J&K, 113 of them in 2019 alone.
