Suicides due to unemployment between 2018–2020 stand at 9,140, says Union Home Ministry in Rajya Sabha

Number of suicides due to unemployment during 2018-2020 stand at 9,140 as per records of National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), replied Union Home Ministry in Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. Number of suicides due to bankruptcy or indebtness during the aforementioned time period was 16,091 as per NCRB records, added the Union Home Ministry in its reply.
