Sri Lankan pilot saves 500 lives, averts mid-air crash over Turkey

SriLankan Airlines praised its pilots for safely commandeering a flight from London to Colombo following reports that the national carrier's aircraft avoided a possible mid-air collision with a British Airways flight over Turkey, endangering the lives of over 500 passengers. Furthermore, the airlines praised the skills of the pilot along with the communication systems and the surveillance system for averting the major disaster.
