Singapore has sentenced a US pilot to four weeks in jail after violating mandatory quarantine rules. The 44-year-old FedEx pilot came from Australia in early April and was ordered to stay in his hotel at the airport, but he took a train to visit some shops. Singapore has so far recorded more than 25,000 positive COVID-19 cases. It’s the highest number in South East Asia while the official death toll stands at 21.
